Buck and Doe Copic Coloring for framing

So I found this image online by, Holly Fedderman,  to color for my husbands cousin for his upcoming wedding. It took me a long time to get up the courage to attempt it. I finally did and although its not perfect I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out!
To create the mat around it I did some serious welding and slicing in Cricut Design Space and created it myself.
I hope you like it!! I had so much fun working on it!!

So while I have been away I may have neglected one little mans birthday in my prep to go. Ooops!! So here I am the night before the party with no card and no gift.... Oy!!

Did you miss me??

I'm back!!! Well... for a few days anyway and then we take off on holiday but I can't wait to show you all what I was working on while unable to be here posting!!!

This is "Romanza" by Aurora Wings

This is "Day of the Dead Marie" by Aurora Wings

This is "Stag and Doe" by Holly Fedderman

This is "Miyabi" by Aurora Wings
I colored her originally for me but some ladies really loved her so she is being mailed out to them now.

I had to try "Miyabi" again in colors that might match some art in my craft room alittle better.

Stay tuned for some follow up Asian inspired art!! I plan on coloring 4 peices to surround the currently existing art!! So I will keep you posted as I go and show you the final wall!!

Design Team Inspiration:

One of my favorite things to eat in the summer is fresh (like pick it and put it in your mouth fresh) produce. So the first thing that came to mind when I read this challenge was canning... I love going back to my roots out on the acreage and putting me up some fresh produce for the winter!!! And this year I have a few people who want some help and instruction so I see a lot of canning in my future!!
So for this challenge I pre-made my pocket scrapbooking cards for when all that canning happens!
Take a peek:

All the peices put together-- again forgive my lack of pictures-- but the events this layout was designed for have not occured yet!
This is "Gardening Gail" by Saturated Canary colored with copics

Materials used:
CTMH Taste of Summer Paper pack
Kraft and white cardstock
Black crayola marker

Can't wait to show you what we create when the canning happens!!! Maybe share some recipes??
See you again soon! Thanks for popping in!!!
