I used an SVG I found on the internet for the Harley logo, frosted glass paint from michaels and Cricut printable vinyl to create this glass block light for him. I also used orange string lights I found at the dollar store I knew would be perfect!!

I'm so thrilled with how this turned out and hope it goes perfect in his man cave of other Harley lights.

Hey there fellow crazy crafters!! How are you this week?
I have to tell you... I am not a Halloween person... at all... before the babies, when we lived in town... I would hide in the basement watching happy lovey movies with all the lights off so no one would know I was home... I did not work, I did not leave the house. People get crazy at Halloween!! LOL
But now I have the babies... and they like the Halloweeen and so I have to be a good mommy and get on board. But I don't think it has to be all creepy, crawly, and dark does it? I like cute!!!

I think I nailed the cute Halloween with this adorable little gift bag!! What do you think??

Materials used:
Faery Ink- Destiny Pumpkin Fae digi
CTMH Scaredy cat paper
CTMH Sunset cardstock
CTMH Black cardstock
CTMH Thistle cardstock
CTMH Artbooking cartridge
CTMH Artiste cartridge
Cricut Wrap it up cartridge
CTMH Liquid glass
Black and Yellow Stickles

Thanks for coming to check out this weeks project!! Happy (cute and Bubbly) Halloween!

So here is the card...

-- I saw the orange and black first so I took the color combo and used the sketch!

I know thats a lot of challenges but wouldn't ya know using Halloween colors this time of year makes it really easy!! Pop back in the next few days to see that gift that goes with it!!

Sympathy-- A little different style

A dear friend of mine has just passed this week leaving behind a wife a teenage daughter. It was a complete shock to everyone!!! Which sometimes I think makes it harder...
Rob was not the sorrowful kind of person. We always celebrated the life our friends lived with Rob not mourned for the life passed. So it felt wrong to me to do a sad and sappy sympathy card for his wife and daughter...
This is what I came up with:
The inscription inside talks about how our lives are like a book; how he played a role in my story; how his story will keep being written by those left behind; and how sad it is his book ended so soon.

I hope I did justice to what was in my head and heart for this man and his family!!

Supplies used:
Ching Chou Kuik- Lil Bookworm Fairy digi colored with copics
CTMH Dream Pop paper
Cricut Billionaire font
