Fishing Themed First Birthday Party!!!

I had a lady approach me about making her sons first birthday party decorations and she wanted a fishing theme. We spent many many many hours messaging back and forth with pictures of the designs for her to truely have it customized just for her! And the end result is pretty awesome if you ask me!!!

This is the topper for his cake. I can't wait to see what she does!! She's making a 9' 3 layered cake with waves on it!!!

Wedding and Bridal Shower Gifts- Shadow Boxes and Tea Cups

So one of my best friends has a vinyl obsession I think... And I'm the person with the machine to cut the vinyl.... and so whenever she gets a new crazy vinyl idea in her head I get to spend the afternoon with her!! And we have been busy these last few weeks!! Take a peek at the shadow boxes we made for wedding gifts:

This last one is for a friend of my moms... mom saw it and liked it and so we got the vinyl out again...

Now this is something I have never seen before... not your typical bridal shower gift or drinking dish either... but it's what the crazy person wanted.... and I LOVE how they turned out!! Totally gonna have to steal her idea me thinks!!

That's all from the land of vinyl for today but check back in a few I have a few more projects to get posted today!!

Faery Ink: Fable Beach Fun: Pocket Scrapbooking Cards

Hey everyone!! I have a fun project to show you today!! Summer has arrived and that means soo much time out in the sunshine with my family!! And in the fall when things calm down again I will get to scrapbook all those fun days!! So I used Faery Inks new release Fable Beach Fun to create these pocket scrapbooking cards for our albums.

Here's what she looks like before she's all colored and glammed:
Isn't she just adorable!?!

When I colored them I tried to keep each person in mind so they would look like each of us or at least represent us for our books.
This is my oldest daughters... her favorite color is pink...

This one is me... my bathing suit is black and you will never see me out in the sun with my shades off.. when they are off I look like a racoon until November... tanned skin except stark white where my sunglasses sit! LOL Its really quite amusing!

And this last one is my youngest daughter... her favorite color is purple...

Materials used:
CTMH Papers and embellishments
Random Flowers

Thanks for stopping in today!! Don't forget you could use this image in our July Faceook Challenge; Fun in the Sun!!! See you all again real soon!!

Alyce from Kit and Clowder is getting married in the fall so she planned a wedding surprise for US... yes you read that right she planned something for us for her wedding... She put together a FREE Rose coloring class for us all. And in return she asked us to send her our colored roses to be used for thier wedding. Although she hasn't told us yet what they will be used for I think its a very cool idea!! I cannot wait to see what she's up to!!
This morning I finished the last of the 6 color combos she gave us to work with. So I wanted to post them for all of you to see. Maybe you want to learn how to color roses... this FREE class is for you!!
