CTMH Artbooking and Elmo Party 8x8 Scrapbooking Layouts

Mothers Day is coming so I hear ;) So I figured I better get a jump on these Mothers Day Gifts. I make a small 8x8 scrapbook for my mother-in-law every year with any events that we as a whole family attend or that would be really important to her. Like Birthdays which means every years for mothers day she gets like 20 pages LOL because ALL of her grandkids are spring babies! And this year we added a bonus 4 day trip to the mountains for a wedding as a whole family so I had some pages to make... Take a peek!

I used the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge for all the above layouts. And mostly Bo Bunny papers, but there is peices of CTMH blue cardstocks in there as well. I used CTMH Blue inks and grey ribbon as well.

For Elmo I used the Cricut Sesame Street Elmos Party cartridge. I used just random peices of paper out of the stash and some red stickles in the banner.

And for this last one I also used the CTMH Artbooking cricut cartridge, I wish I could tell you what that beautiful pattern paper is but I cannot remember. The solid cardstocks are all from CTMH- Cotton Candy, Lagoon and Thistle.

Thanks for popping in to see what I've been up to!! I have a few more things to show you so go grab a coffee and I will be right back!

Sassy Studio Designs- April Progressive Challenge- Easter Bunny Honey

The April Progessive Challenge image this month over at the Sassy Studio Designs Facebook Group is Easter Bunny Honey. You have to be a member of the group to get the image for FREE and follow a few other guidelines. After you are done taking a look here pop over there to learn more and get your image!!

I colored this image in with copics and mounted it on just random papers from my stash. I also used some Recollections Kraft flowers, white rose buttons and a bright yellow distressed flower to embellish this image.

Thanks for taking another look!

Hannah Lynn- Alice Lost and Mad Hatter birthday presents

Anyone remember how much one of my besties loves Alice in Wonderland? Her bday is in a few weeks so I colored her up some more pictures!! She was given frames from another friend for Xmas that she very specifically told me she wanted her next images in... So picky this girl!! But I had a ton of fun working on the next images for her even if I had a little hick up along the way...

So first I started with Alice Lost and spent many hours coloring it. Only to realize when I went to frame it that it was the wrong size!!!! Yup, that's right. The frame is for a 4x6 image and I colored it 5x7. So I trimmed it down... but all the important stuff like rabbits and doors and teacups were lost inside the frame...

So I turned it into a Mothers Day Card for my step mom instead!

And started again... LOL So here is the second Alice Lost all colored up and ready to go:

And in the frame. I know its not a brilliant pic but the images are really hard to focus on in those big ol' frames! LOL But she loves them and they do end up looking really cool!
So then I moved onto the second image: Mad Hatter. I had already started the 5x7 when I realized my mistake but wasn't far enough along for my world to end! Thank God! So I just reprinted at 4x6 and left the bigger one to be finished another day for another project.

It also looks really cool in the frame!

I'm very glad to have these crossed off my list and maybe not see another Alice in Wonderland image for awhile. But I know Alex and I have a feeling there's more coming my way!!

Thanks for popping in today!!
